Disaster recovery

Heart-stopping IT failure. Make sure your organisation doesn’t skip a beat

We needed a partner and a relationship that could evolve with us. Proact offered that and it was in stark contrast with alternative options in the market, which purely involved selling equipment. That’s been the key valuable criteria in the relationship that we’ve got.”

Example disaster recovery services

Storage array protection

Storage array protection

Many businesses store key business data on both NAS, Fibre and iSCSI storage volumes. Storage array-based replication means that Proact can protect these volumes at an array level, leveraging the arrays built-in replication technology, and allowing large datasets to be replicated with ease.

VM recovery – Snapshot protection (Snap)

VM recovery – Snapshot protection (Snap)

For virtual machines that are less business critical, Snap provides lower cost VM level replication to the DR site. Multiple VM images are available to allow for previous version to be recovered if required. Having two VM recovery options means you can balance your protection needs and your budget.

VM recovery – continuous data protection (CDP)

VM recovery – continuous data protection (CDP)

Proact CDP delivers near zero RPO by replicating all changes to a given virtual machine. This means that your most critical systems can replicate changes as they are applied and allows for VMs to be rolled back in time in the event of data corruption or ransomware attack. This service is tier one protection for your most critical services.

Physical server recovery

Physical server recovery

Physical server recovery leverages an OS-level agent to deliver a scheduled replication of your business data to one of our secure data centres. The replication will provide an application-consistent mirror of your data to our site, allowing for your server to be recovered, regardless of physical hardware.
