This is the first iteration of the Technology Products framework to have associated services in its scope.
We enable all our customers to adopt sustainable IT solutions through:
- Cloud data centres – Moving customers from less efficient on-premises data centres to highly efficient carbon-zero cloud data centres
- Restriction-free end-user computing device selection – Allowing organisations to plan for and buy energy-efficient devices
- Extend useful device lifespan – Reducing annual embodied GHG emissions to delay IT device refreshes
- Consolidation of storage and server technologies – Selecting data centre partners who proactively reduce energy consumption
- Low-carbon supply chain – Objectively advising customers on the relative impact of different solutions so they can make an informed choice on actual cost of ownersh
The Data Security and Protection Toolkit is an online self-assessment tool that enables organisations to measure and publish their performance against the National Data Guardian’s 10 data security standards.
All organisations with access to NHS patient data and systems must use this toolkit to provide assurance that they are practising good data security and personal information is handled correctly.
Since the toolkit launch, Proact has consistently met these required standards. We help NHS organisations comply with the security standards across all 10 areas, such as:
- People – Ensuring staff are equipped to handle information safely and respectfully
- Process – Enabling organisations so they can proactively prevent data security breaches and implement appropriate responses to incidents or near-misses
- Technology – ensuring technology is secure and up-to-date
A trusted advisor for healthcare

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust were faced with an increasing demand for services and were challenged in finding new ways to be more effective with the resources they had. Proact’s Clinical Workspace solution makes it possible for the Trust to deliver care at the point of need, with remote, real-time access to patient data from any device, anywhere.
We were able to double our capacity, from 600 to 1,200 users, overnight. There's no way we could have scaled so quickly if we hadn't already been on cloud"
